The Indian music has its own values across the globe, and it is evident that the music has both an art and a science. It is high time to investigate the science behind the traditional and modern music. Music is based on mathematics and thus a fusion of Arts and Science. Classical Indian music has recognized which sound can do what, to a mathematical precision. The renowned scientist C. V. Raman was obsessed with the workings of Indian musical instruments like mridangam and tabla, leading to some seminal work in the area. So, in this session, the participants are expected to explore various aspects of science in music through various means.
