Food security is the first expression of a self-reliant nation. Agriculture in India is at a crossroads where the need for maintaining food security while preserving the constrained natural resources requires innovative out of box thinking that blends the latest advances in engineering and sciences with traditional wisdom of India. This session will provide a platform for bringing together diverse stakeholders such as farmers, academia, research, industry, and policy makers to brainstorm on the current status and future directions of agriculture, technology and policy innovations in agricultural technologies, conservation practices, biodiversity preservation and ensuring ecosystem-services.
